First created in 1988 by Joel Hodgson, MST3K is ostensibly the story of a janitor who has been kidnapped by two mad scientists and forced to watch cheesy Sci-Fi B movies aboard their spaceship, Satellite of Love. To stave off the boredom of this existence, he creates himself a plethora of robot pals to watch along with him and create new plotlines and scripts as the movie plays. With writers on the new series including superfan Elliot Kalan, Joel Mchale, Dana Gould and many more, expect all of the wisecracking, plot twists, silly characters and schoolboy jokes you've come to love

Amazing Performance!
What a perfect venue! Practically got shivers as Joel Hodgson walks on stage, a true creative genius, responsible for bringing laughter and happiness to us for decades! It was great to see such a supportive crowd and the riffs were fresh and hysterical! Seeing the bots live was truly poetry in motion, puppeteering at it's finest! The MST3K Live fulfilled every cheesy over-expectation we had built up
over 6 months waiting to see it. Jonah is nerd-ily likeable and we deem
him worthy as the new host, but the main reason we went was to see
Joel! He was funnier than ever with his dead-pan delivery and great
timing. The show was tight and well scripted, and the riffs were
hilarious. We loved that it still family friendly - even though Crow has
learned to “cussâ€, and experiencing a MSTie with a theatre full of other
fans who “got†every riff and reference was fun. Our seats were great
and the Taft seemed like the perfect venue for this type of event.
